The kidZtruction Zone Ministry is an amazing place to be!! Every time I step foot into the Zone, I am indescribably blessed to witness what God is doing in the lives of His kids. These children are not too young to grow (in HUGE ways) in their relationships with God. They learn about God, and then put into practice the Biblical truths they have learned. They don’t sing songs; they truly raise their voices and hands in worship to Jesus. And they pray for one another - several have even led their peers to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! God is moving in the kZone!! Come check us out!

 The KidZtruction Zone is directed to the needs and understanding of children in third through fifth grades. Our name reflects our purpose, which is to build children on the foundation of God.

 

                            In the KidZtruction Zone, we:

    1.   Teach children that their heavenly Father loves them and wants a relationship with them,                                         as well as how to attain and retain that relationship.
    2.   How to put biblical principles into practice through practical teachings from the Holy Bible.
    3.   Allow opportunities for them to praise and worship God through music, prayer, and art.
    4.   Teach them to build relationships with other children and leaders through special activities.

Prize Box

 As an encouragement to you to bring your Bible, friends, offering, and canned food (for the hungry in Redding) to church each week, we have a Prize Box full of fun prizes that you can earn.

Here’s how it works: At the beginning of each month, we count up the points earned in the month before, and then we hand out prizes to those who have earned the minimum number of points.

How can you earn points? Well, it’s really easy to do: You get points each time you come to church (1,000 points), each time you bring your Bible (3,000), tithe (2,000), canned food (2,000 points per can) and your friends (10,000 points for each new friend). You even get points for participating in the service, reading chapters out of the Bible (2,000-6,000 points per chapter) and memorizing the “Verse of the Month” (10,000 points!).

         Upcoming Events

In addition to our Sunday & Wednesday night services, the kidZtruction Zone gets together several times a year for fun activities like Skate Nights, Pool Parties, Summer Camp & more!

k-Zone is no longer meeting during the 6:00 Haven Service.

k-Zone meets at the 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and NOON services on Sunday. See you then.

 

 

Each summer the KidZtruction Zone has a four-day-long camp for children going into 4th and 5th grades. The children get to hike, explore, make crafts, play sports & games, and participate in other activities during the day. In the evening, we have a worship service where the children will hear the Word of God through creative teachings, and will be able to praise and worship God through music. At night, the children sleep in warm, safe cabins. Dates for Summer Camp 2012: August 9-12
