I had an amazing morning! I set my alarm early and was able to go on an uninterrupted prayer walk with the Lord. This was amazing because it was August and it was actually cool, and more so, because when I asked the Lord what He wanted to say to you, He made two things very clear.
Tell them, "How much I love them and that I have so many good gifts I want to give them."
Will we ever fathom the love of God? Probably not. But He wants you to know personally that He loves you. He sees everything in your life. Yes, that means through the good, bad and the ugly. He loves you.
The love of God and eternal life sound like pretty good gifts to me. But the Lord also knows about the personal things that will bless your heart. Those are the gifts He wants to give too: special nuggets of truth that will bring peace on a bad day, gifts that come to you unexpectedly, the kind only your Heavenly Father knows about. Be aware, they're coming your way!
This year looks like a new adventure to me. Maybe you’ve never gotten your feet into Women’s Ministries before. That's okay, let's go together.

What's Going On?

Bible Study runs on a ten week Fall schedule with a new study in January
Women meet every Monday evening in the Foyer of the church from 7 p.m. till 9 p.m. There is an emphasis on fellowship, Bible study, worship and small groups. Childcare is available.
(“You and Your Child” will run Monday evening during Spring)
Women also meet every Friday morning (same study as Monday p.m.) in the Foyer of Little Country Church. From 9 a.m.-11 a.m. we have fellowship and worship, Bible Study and small groups. We have teachers and group leaders who are anxious to meet you and have you join them in discovering God’s truths

Is a biblical guide for nurturing confident children from infancy to independence and will run concurrently with the Friday morning time.
It will run Monday evening during the Spring
Nursery provided and children's programs available.
Every Friday (weather permitting) we meet after the morning Bible Study (or 11:15ish) at the Bobwhite Park located at the corner of Springer and Bobwhite (about two blocks from the church- in front of the water towers).
We desire this to be a short time of encouragement to those of you who are “Full Time Mommies”, a playtime for the kids and a chance for moms to visit. Bring your lawn chair, your friends and their kids, strollers and sack lunch. See ya there! |
| Every Fall the women have a chance to retreat away for the weekend. This is a great opportunity to hear gifted and inspirational teachers, participate in worship and ministry time. You’ll have fun and fellowship as you make new friends, rest and spend time alone with Jesus. This weekend is designed to impact your life and walk with God. |
| This is a one day event set in January where we come together to be taught and inspired by many gifted teachers. It is a Petite Retreat. “Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle(meek) and humble(lowly) in heart, and you will find rest(relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.” Matt:11:29 (AMP) |
The heart of Little Country Church’s Women’s Ministries is to reach women with the love of Jesus. Our ministry desires to be a safe place where women of all ages can build their relationship with Christ and His Word. We want to support women in their giftings and talents as they connect and serve Him.
